History

As sophomores at Miami University, Nick and Joe were involved in several on-campus clubs and organizations that ordered hundreds of custom t-shirts. After dealing with the local print shop, they saw an opportunity to better serve the needs of on-campus organization by providing quicker turnaround, lower pricing, and superior customer service. So, as any true entrepreneur would do, they created their own company—University Tees.

Creative Apparel and Promotional Products Solutions in Cleveland, OhioAs University Tees grew, the company started to receive orders for custom apparel and promotional products from corporate clients. With years of experience in the industry, Nick and Joe knew that the needs of corporations are similar to the needs of campus organizations—both want quality products at affordable prices. However, Nick and Joe also realized that companies often need unique, high-impact products that will help accomplish specific marketing goals. Furthermore, many people don’t have the time (or the desire) to search through pages of catalogs to find the perfect item for their marketing mix.

To better serve the needs of the corporate market, the two seasoned entrepreneurs started onpoint Promos in 2006. Since its inception, numerous companies, brands, and non-profits such as Cub Cadet, Sherwin Williams, The MS Society and AT&T have turned to onpoint for their marketing and promotional needs.

Our philosophy is simple… We listen, we think, and we D.W.W.S.W.D (do-what-we-say-we’ll-do). We’re reliable, smart, young (not to be confused with inexperienced), and to be honest, we’re nice. Our customers are busy: juggling projects, making decisions, answering emails, managing vendors, talking to clients, buying groceries, making dinner, paying bills, feeding the dog… well, you get the idea. Account Executive
The main function of an Account Executive is to develop new sales opportunities with our current customers while fostering new customer relationships.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Advertising, or related field
  • 1-2 years full cycle sales experience (Marketing/Advertising industry experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • An interest and willingness to do what it takes to generate revenue and service customers
  • Base salary + Commission
